Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using WhenIt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Use of WhenIt
You must be at least 13 years old to use WhenIt. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must not use WhenIt to send harmful, illegal, abusive or harassing content.
3. Sealed Messages
WhenIt stores your sealed messages until the trigger condition is met. We take reasonable steps to ensure delivery but cannot guarantee delivery in all circumstances (e.g. if the recipient deletes their account). Messages are stored securely and not accessed by WhenIt staff.
4. Trusted Contacts
By designating a trusted contact, you authorise that person to trigger delivery of your messages. WhenIt is not responsible for incorrect triggering by a trusted contact. A 24-48 hour cancellation window is provided for this reason.
5. Public Echoes
Content you post as a public Echo is visible to all WhenIt users. You are responsible for ensuring your Echoes comply with our community guidelines and applicable law. We reserve the right to remove Echoes that violate these terms.
6. Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly (£0.99) or annually (£8.99) through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your sealed messages will be permanently deleted and cannot be delivered.
8. Intellectual Property
WhenIt and its original content are owned by WhenIt App Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your message content remains yours.
9. Limitation of Liability
WhenIt is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhenIt App Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes via push notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
